THIS PROJECT IS A SUBMISSION FOR UGDL23
Not an original game! The goal of the project was to propose a mechanic change to the video game BLADES OF BRIM (sybogames) found HERE. The attached folder only contains a prototype of an endless run mechanic with two different attacks.

Intro
The proposed exercise was to analyse the game from a target audience and gameplay standpoint to highlight the importance of competition analysis when developing a game. Groups were then prompted to suggest a change in a mechanic that would improve user experience.

Chosen mechanic and reasoning

The remaining mechanics in the prototype are only there in order to make the experience more concise and provide context to the attack mechanic, as it is dependant on both player movement, the endless running and enemies being attacked.

Controls
- SWIPE left / right / up in order to perform an attack to that side / move
- DOUBLE TAP in order to perform a jump attack

Disclaimer:
Considering the prototype nature of this project, no assets were used to embelish the mechanic as the main purpose was to test a potential solution to a problem proposed by the group in its purest state, requiring testing and iterations in order to bloom to its full potential.
